Schlindwein

Album 'Piano < Forte”

R.O.T records / 2023

Berlin, Germany – November, 2023 – Esteemed electronic artist Schlindwein returns to the stage with the highly anticipated release of his third studio album, a mesmerizing fusion of classical piano compositions and cutting-edge electronica. Aptly titled ’Piano < Forte’, this new collection of works embodies Schlindwein's artistic evolution and his unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of sonic exploration. ’Piano < Forte’ is a dynamic playing instruction, meaning that one note is played very quietly and the following note is played strong and loud. This is exactly what is happening in the new album: going from quiet, intimate classical pieces to loud, impactful electronic madness.

This bold confrontation showcases Schlindwein's singular ability to seamlessly blend diverse musical influences into a cohesive and awe-inspiring musical experience. Each track is meticulously crafted to capture the essence of a specific mood, inviting audiences to immerse themselves in a sonic world where classical elegance intertwines with electronic innovation.

Drawing inspiration from the rich cultural heritage of Berlin, Schlindwein skillfully infuses the pulsating energy of the city's vibrant electronic music scene into his compositions. By juxtaposing traditional piano motifs with intricate layers of glitchy beats, ethereal synths, and hypnotic basslines, he creates a truly unique combination of classical and contemporary sonic elements.

Schlindwein

Album 'Piano Tales”

R.O.T records / 2021

‘I learned chess as a kid from my dad and even was in the local chess club for a short time. When the pandemic started I really got back into it thanks to chess.com , Lichess and the awesome online tournaments. Now not a day goes by where I am not playing a rapid game or watch some chess videos! And I think it’s time to get chess out of the „boring/nerd/classical music“ niche and into Pop-Culture!’ (Schlindwein)

‚Textures' is the second single of the second album, which is anticipated in July 2021.

Once again Schlindwein worked with NHOAH and his Label R.O.T Records in top class studios in Berlin and Vienna to deliver a production at the highest level. This track has a classic house feel with a deep and sexy bass groove and that beloved organ sound.

Tangowerk

Album ”Tangowerk By NHOAH”

R.O.T records / 2011

Nominated for ”Preis Der Deutschen Schallplatten Kritik”

Travels to Buenos Aires in 2005 sparked the initial inspiration for the creation of the project. Over the span of the next five years, many international artists in Berlin and Buenos Aires were recorded to eventually finalise the 14 tracks for the debut album carrying the same name as the project: Tangowerk. Besides electro and tango themes, audio aesthetics based on the Golden Twenties took strong musical influence.

The album was mostly recorded in the famous Estudios ION in Buenos Aires where artists such as Astor Piazzolla or Osvaldo Pugliese had been recording. Back in Berlin, modular synthesizer, analog grammophones, radios and reel-to-reel tape recorders as well as state of the art technical post processing applications were implemented to create the unique, intermodal, amalgamated soundscape.
